I have a keen interest to work with children and teachers on Education sector. It is my firm belief that to remove the psychological barrier and opt scientific way of learning is the only way to change the
present scenario.
Born and brought up in the middle-class family from a small town Chapra in Bihar I understood the value
of education since I started understanding the world. I studied in CBSE boarding school in Bihar then I
moved to Delhi for higher education. The ambitious support of family helped me to focus on my goal. I
have earned a Bachelor degree - B.A (Hons.) Political Science, from Miranda House, University of Delhi
(Batch 2008-2011). I have earned the Master degree - M.Sc (Asian Studies) from S. Rajaratnam School of
International Studies, Nanyang Technological University – Singapore. In career, I was very much
passionate to work in the education domain.
Being a Political Science student I always dream to emerge change maker. By this time I understood the
barriers of development for a society specific in the context of Indian Society. I analyzed and understood
the reason for discrimination/ underdevelopment of society. As I was studying the policy and loopholesstereotypes as well as the major challenges in the growth of nation and society. The quote and statement
of Nelson Mandela- “Education is the most powerful weapon which can use to change the world” has
influenced me as I analyzed and experience the same in my society.
The great leader's thoughts remained the base of my career which set the direction of my life, my passion,
my strength and my career. I find this logical and I carved the way to contribute to this cause.
In college I choose National Social Service, I volunteered to teach in Samarpan Foundation for 1 years
on weekly basis for 2 hours. In the journey of 2 hours teaching to slum students, I achieved a sense of
satisfaction eternally and output % increase in learning level of slum students as well as earned their
trust in me. The journey outlined my career and then I was selected as Gandhi Fellow – Batch 6 (2013-
2015) - Block – Nawalgarh, District – Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. I worked as an Education Associate in
Parivartan – Siwan from June 2015- September 2015. Further, I worked as a Residential School Teacher
in Shoshit Samadhan Kendra in Patna Bihar from 2015- 2017. In between, I also experimented my skill in
Management in Project Potential – Kishanganj Bihar. I worked as a Strategic District Program Manager to
coordinate the project in Kishanganj, Katihar, Araria and Purina district in Bihar.
Further I worked as State Project Coordinator in SPARC India for almost one and half year in -
Lucknow by leading team and coordinating with relevant stakeholders in implementing Inclusive
Education Project in Lucknow, Barabanki and Sitapur districts in Uttar Pradesh. I am coordinating with
stakeholders of 42 Government Primary and Upper Primary Schools.
I worked as volunteer consultant responsible for designing and documenting program in Karunodaya
Foundation in Bihar for a short term of four months. Through this platform we aimed to establish an
innovative set up to bridges the gaps and loopholes in the primary education system.
After having 6 years of minute experience with 6- 14 years old children in education in rural Grassroots
level and teachers of Govt. Primary School of rural areas in three states of India, I envisioned and shaped
my own dream based on my idea as long term investment of my experience in education domain.
I firmly believe that your organization platform will give me the opportunity to show my best potential
in value addition as well to explore my identity.
