I am a teacher.

Being a teacher means:

Often, the work of a teacher is invisible. The late nights planning lessons, the concern for a struggling student, the effort to bring relevance into the classroom — these may go unnoticed. Yet, we persist. Because we understand the long-term impact of our work. Behind every successful professional, there is a teacher who believed in them, sometimes before they believed in themselves.

To teach is to invest in generations we may never meet, in a future we may never see — and yet, that is our greatest honor.
