Grip: Use a nice Racket for grip which will give more power and control. Experiment with different grips to find what works best for you.
Stance: Start with your feet shoulder-width apart and your body turned sideways to the net. The front foot should point towards the net while the back foot is perpendicular to the baseline.
Toss: Toss the ball slightly in front and to the right (for right-handers) or left (for left-handers) of your body. The toss should be consistent and at a comfortable height, usually around eye level.
Racket Drop: As you bring your racket back, drop your racket head below your hand, allowing for a greater upward swing and more power.
Swing: Initiate the swing with your hips and shoulders rotating together. Keep your hitting arm relaxed and extend it fully at the point of contact. The racket head should accelerate through the ball.
