Learnings From King Of Clay - Rafael Nadal: Determination, Focus To Achieve Your Goal.
Sunil Bhat
He has 17 +years of professional experience in leadership, Delegation, Interpersonal conflict, Managing...
Yesterday, Nadal won French Open 2017 and it was his 15th Grand Slam Title. Throughout this tournament, he played like a champion without losing a Set. In the final match with Stan Wawrinka he displayed a top quality tennis with powerful forehands and topspin, his first serve was best ever.
But this was not so easy, after winning French Open in 2014 he had series of injuries and last year in 2016 he retired after 3rd round due to damaged Wrist. A player who was on a winning spree till 2014 and suddenly was forced to be down by wear and tear caused by so many years of power play. Still, he had a faith in his abilities, his determination for playing tennis was tremendous, any other player would have taken retirement, but he stood like a true leader and fought all odds. In those bad patches he must have fallen down too much stronger and new players, he must be mentally shattered, devastated with the struggles between mind and body but at the end, his mind won. His never say die attitude plunged him to give best and achieve what he had planned, his determination was seen in Australian open 2017 when he reached final and displayed signs of return.
So what are the takeaways from this warrior is always give your best, never give up, stay focused, work on your weakness and make them your strengths, problems will come, situations will force you to surrender but never loose hope, everyone is unique and must use his full strength to achieve his / her Goal.
Wishing all the very best to Rafael Nadal for his future and wish him to achieve many heights. Also wish all of us to be strong, consistent and shall never give up.

Best Method To Study * Effective Utilization Of Time*
Nitya
Hello, welcome to my profile. I'm here to teach and learn. My strengths are English, Social science...
We often sit for long hours to study and at the end of it, we might feel unsatisfied.
The time duration of study does not matter, the productivity does. A powerfully curated method that is tried and tested is the POMODORO Technique.
The Pomodoro Technique can help you power through distractions, hyper-focus, and get things done in short bursts, while taking frequent breaks to come up for air and relax. Best of all, it's easy. If you have a busy job where you're expected to produce, it's a great way to get through your tasks. Let's break it down and see how you can apply it to your work.
The Pomodoro Technique was invented in the early 90s by developer, entrepeneur, and author Francesco Cirillo. Cirillo named the system "Pomodoro" after the tomato-shaped timer he used to track his work as a university student. The methodology is simple: When faced with any large task or series of tasks, break the work down into short, timed intervals (called "Pomodoros") that are spaced out by short breaks. This trains your brain to focus for short periods and helps you stay on top of deadlines or constantly-refilling inboxes. With time it can even help improve your attention span and concentration .
Here's how to get started with Pomodoro, in five steps:
- Choose a task to be accomplished.
- Set the Pomodoro to 25 minutes (the Pomodoro is the timer)
- Work on the task until the Pomodoro rings, then put a check on your sheet of paper
- Take a short break (5 minutes is OK)
- Every 4 Pomodoros take a longer break
That "longer break" is usually on the order of 15-30 minutes, whatever it takes to make you feel recharged and ready to start another 25-minute work session. Repeat that process a few times over the course of a workday, and you actually get a lot accomplished—and took plenty of breaks to grab a cup of coffee or refill your water bottle in the process.

A Message From Rudyard Kipling
Prince
If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, but make allowence for their doubting too; If you can wait and not to be tired by waiting, or being lied about, don't deal in lies, or being hated, don't give way to hating. And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise; if you can dream- and not make dreams your master, if you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; if you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two impostors just the same; if you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, and stoop and build'em up with worn- out tools; if you can make one heap of all your winnings and risk it on one turn of pitch- and toss, and lose, and start again at your beginings and never breath a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew to your turn long after they are gone And so hold on when there is nothing in you Expect the will which says to them; Hold on! If you can talk with crowds and keep your virture, or walk with kings- nor lose the common touch, if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, if all men count with you, but none too much; if you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And which is more you'll be a man, my son!

2 Smart Work : 20% Input & 80% Output
4 Efficient Work : Within prescribed time & within available resources and then getting maximum output
5 Systematic Work : Accurate budgeting backed by forecasting and planning.
6. Recognizing opportunities at the right time
7. Positive attitude and perception
8. Strong courtesy and courage
9. A very good listener (that is why God has given us TWO EARS but ONE Mouth)
10. Positive Jealous
Do you really applying any of these fundoos for your career; it’s not too late, let us start today itself and enjoy every moment of life. I just would like to quote successes in these sentences –
“Never take someone for granted,
Hold every person close to your heart,
Because you might wake up one day,
And realize that you have lost a diamond,
While you were too busy collecting stones”.
