Microprocessor & Microcontroller both are integrated circuits.
The microprocessor (MPU) is a controlling unit of a microcomputer. It is stored in a single integrated circuit; whereas Microcontroller(MCU) is a compact integrated circuit design to govern a specific operation in an embedded system.
The microprocessor is a set of instructions having zero status flag, bulky & large no.of instructions, mainly used in personal computers. The microprocessor is the heart of the computer.
Whereas Microcontroller is also set of instructions having no zero flags, as well as fewer instructions, mainly used in the washing machine, MP3 players Microcontroller having RAM ROM, EEPROM embedded in it.

Consider a tank which is filled with water and placed at some heights. This tank has a pipe connection that is going downwards to another tank in the ground level. The height difference between the 2 tanks can be considered as the potential difference (which measures in "voltage" ) and the flow of water from the tank 1 to tank 2 can be considered as the "current" . And the funny part is one day a stone got stucked in halfway of pipe and the water flow reduced, which can be considered as the term "resistance"😀

How to prepare for Subjects and present in Exam?
Suresh Kumar
Hello, you may wonder if I say Preparing Subjects is very simple. You need to spend at least 4 hours for each Unit, each for first reading, preparing short notes, re-reading, writing on plane paper with out reference to book and most important revise this after one day spending 1 hour, and revise it after one week spending 1 hour and one week before exam spending 1 hour and previous day to exam spending 2 hour i.e., if you have Five units in Subject = (5*4)+3+2=25 hours per Subject and if you have 6 subjects 120 hours you need to spend in first phase preparation.
Daily you can plan for 4 hours i.e., morning 6 to 7 and evening 6.30 to 9.30 for 30 days before exams start.
Don't forget to revise previous day chapter by spending extra hour , Dont forget to revise weak on sunday.

Introduction to transistor
Transistor is basic of modern electronics.
We have two types of transistors.
Transistor is a device made of two words.
Transfer + resistor.
So it means it is a device that transfers current from low resistance circuit to high resistance circuit.
Now, what do u mean by low resistance and high resistance circuits???
Remember, when you read semiconductor devices first time then a very intereting topic you must have learnt, BIASING.
Biasing is doing favor to someone or simply in one word it is partiality. So what type of partiality are we doing?? So simple, we are giving the same thing to a terminal that it already has in abundance.
Yes, a transistor is always a three legged device, named emitter, base and collector.
Now if a talk about BJT (BIPOLAR JUNCTION TRANSISTOR ) so it has two types
So, in any ckt there are two main blocks; input and output. So according to the definition we have to do forward biasing in the input block an reverse biasing for output block.
Gud luck
It is only basic definition of transistor. For further Information, will update soon. Till that enjoy.

how to learn electronics subjects such as electromagnetics, signals and systems, network theory, etc

I have completed M.Tech from IIT kharagpur. I have specialized and easy teaching of engg M1,M2,M3,electromagnetic...
Per sem let us take average 5 subjects. Then we have to learn all the five subjects with good concepts building. But sometimes we tend to forget what is required and what can be expected to be asked in xams (especially). Everyone expects that whatever he/she learns should appear in xams. But instead we go in reverse fashion, thn....????
....
SUPPOSE WE LEARN ONLY WHAT IS EXPECTED TO BE ASKED THEN...?
SURELY WE LL FEEL SO LUCKY.
THIS IS WHERE A PRO(GUIDE) IS REQUIRED TO GUIDE IN PROPER FASHION.

Failing in relatively easy subjects - remedies
Babu
Often most parents complains that their ward cleared many hard subjects but could not cleared the easy subject. The students perception about the subject makes it easier or harder not the course content. In many instances its cumulative effect of teacher'teaching methodology, students preconceived notions on teacher, and ofcourse the opinions of surrounded friends. For instance if a better performing student says an easier subject as tough its effect will be felt more or less till to the relatively low performer. Its ripple will be felt all over.
Best way to be out of such scary situation is getting familiarised with jargaon of subject. Students must carry the mood anyway i need to sit an hour in the class then why not in spending the same time in listening atlest minimal technical words. Above all always carrying good opinion about teacher will boost the understanding by 10-15%.
Good luck friends. Happy reading.

Always it is a complain from many students that they do not remember concepts taught and learnt as time progresses. Even exceptional students also falls pray to effect of time fading. The tip which i generally give to many is one should live with concepts and techniques. Living?? may be surprising . . . !!
Here is the simple rule
1. Reading
2. Associating with surroundings
3. Repeating
For example, when one come across the concept of noise, first reading and understanding, then associating with CPU noise or fan noise or bike noise, finally whenever one heards of noise must recollect the concept of noise.
Though looks simple, living with concpts is only possible over a repeated practice.
Happy Learning
