I have 4+ years of dedicated experience in teaching Mathematics to students of Class I to V across CBSE, ICSE and Maharashtra State Board. My entire focus at this foundational stage is on building strong number sense and conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. I believe if the base is strong in Class I-V, higher class maths becomes easy. My Teaching Approach: • For Class I & II: Activity-based learning. I use real-life objects, counting beads, picture charts and story-based sums to teach number recognition, place value, addition, subtraction, shapes, measurement, time and money. • For Class III to V: Concept + Practice + Logic. Special focus on Tables (2 to 20), Long Multiplication & Division, Fractions, Decimals, HCF/LCM basics, Geometry, Perimeter & Area, Measurement conversions, and Word Problems. • I teach in English but explain in Hindi / Marathi if the child needs it for better understanding. • Daily 10-minute mental math, speed tables, and puzzle-based revision to remove maths fear. • Customized worksheets, weekly tests, and regular homework help and exam preparation. What I Cover: Number System, Four Operations, BODMAS basics, Fractions, Decimals, Money, Time, Calendar, Measurement, Shapes & Patterns, Data Handling, and Applied Word Problems as per school syllabus. I provide both Home Tuition and Online Tuition with one-to-one attention. I have taught 40+ students in this age group so far, with most students showing improvement from average to 85%+ in school exams within 3-4 months. My Teaching Methodology: • Concept First: I do not let students mug up. Every chapter starts with formula derivation and logic, then moves to types of questions. • Chapter-wise PYQs: All last 10 years board questions and sample papers covered after each chapter. • Formula & Tricks Book: Separate handbook for all formulas, identities and short tricks for fast solving. • Weekly Tests & Full Syllabus Mock Tests: Strictly as per board paper pattern with time management training. • Doubt Solving: Special sessions for weak topics like Trigonometry, Geometry proofs and Word Problems. • I teach in English, and explain in Hindi / Marathi wherever needed for better clarity. I provide Online Tuition in one-to-one and small group batches. Most of my Class 10 students have scored 85%+ in Maths, with many scoring above 90 in board exams.
