Akshaya P. Mohan – Bharatanatyam Artist & Instructor

I am Akshaya P. Mohan, a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer with over 10 years of training and performance experience. My journey in this classical art form began at a young age, driven by deep passion and cultural reverence. Over the years, I have developed a strong foundation in Bharatanatyam through disciplined practice and academic studies, earning a Diploma in Bharatanatyam, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, and a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Bharatanatyam.

In addition to being a performer, I am also a committed teacher. I currently conduct offline classes from my home and teach students in both Kottayam and Bhadrakitta districts. My teaching is rooted in tradition, yet I focus on building creativity, discipline, and expression in each of my students. I take pride in sharing this divine art form with the younger generation, guiding them through theory, practice, and stage performance.

My contribution to Bharatanatyam extends to international recognition as well. I have proudly participated in two Guinness World Record events related to dance, showcasing my commitment to excellence and community in the performing arts.

I am open to expanding my teaching services internationally and am keen to offer classes in the UAE and USA, both in-person (as much as possible) and online. My goal is to reach global audiences, promote Indian classical arts worldwide, and help students across borders discover the joy and depth of Bharatanatyam.

With a rich blend of academic qualifications, practical experience, and cultural commitment, I continue to grow as a performer and mentor, dedicated to preserving and promoting the timeless beauty of Bharatanatyam.
