I am Safana Sudheer, a postgraduate in M.Sc. Counselling Psychology with a strong academic record of 75.9%, and I qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) in 2024, demonstrating my academic proficiency and readiness for teaching and research. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Department of Psychology at CSI College for Advanced Studies, Punnakkad, where I am actively involved in teaching undergraduate students, designing lesson plans, preparing academic materials, and mentoring learners. My teaching experience spans core areas such as counselling psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, and organizational behavior. I have also been engaged in organizing academic and awareness programs, including initiatives like Drug Awareness Day, with a focus on the psychological impact of substance use. My academic interests lie in counselling and psychotherapy, particularly integrative and contemporary approaches, family therapy, social and positive psychology, and mental health interventions. Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I am keenly interested in pursuing research and higher studies, with the goal of contributing to the field of psychology through evidence-based practices that promote mental well-being.
