I am a bharatanatyam dancer and teacher. For me dance is a passion and a way of life to stay healthy and fit. My teaching methodology follows a student centered approach by understanding the level of talent of each student and adjusting my style to suit the needs and demands of each student. I focus on bringing clarity and perfection at each level as it proceeds, by inviting questions, and ideas from learners, respecting and supporting them to achieve a long term goal. Age is not a factor for dance and i am flexible to teach anyone of any age who wishes to stay healthy and happy in life. I have been practicing and performing various dance forms since childhood and proficient in forms like mohiniyatam, kuchipudi, folkdance, semiclassical. I hold MA in Bharathanatyam.
