I am a teacher of Hindustani classical and light classical music. I usually teach online. I have a Masters degree in vocal music from Rabindra Bharati University Kolkata. I perform as well. I have albums of Bengali modern songs, Nazrulgeeti, and thumri. I have performed in TV and Radio.
I also have a degree in commerce. ( B. Com., ICWAI ). I had worked in a Chartered Accountant's firm but had to leave for personal reasons. Now I concentrate only on music.

With 15 years of experience in Hindustani light music, I hold an MA in Music from Rabindra Bharati University and a Sangeet Bharati certification from Githobitan. My musical journey has been enriched by both teaching and performing, and I take pride in sharing my passion for music with students of all levels.

As a seasoned performer, I specialize in teaching Thumri and Dadra. My performances have graced various esteemed platforms, including TV, radio, the Satarang Music Conference, and the Sangeet Sansthan. I have also had the honor of judging music competition shows, which has deepened my understanding of musical talent and pedagogy.

I conduct interactive online sessions that are tailored to the needs of my students. Each session is structured to combine theoretical understanding with practical application, ensuring a holistic learning experience. Whether you are a beginner or preparing for music exams, I provide personalized guidance to help you achieve your goals.

To enhance the learning process, I provide notes and live session demonstrations. My teaching approach is designed to inspire confidence and a deep appreciation for Hindustani light music while equipping students with the technical and emotional nuances of the art form.
