Swapan Kumar Charavorty

I am BE from IIEST, Sibpur and MBA (Marketing) from IISWBM, Calcutta University. I switched over from MECON Limited as Dy. General Manager in-charge (overseas steel and power projects) to join B C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur as lecturer. I worked as Principal for A B S Polytechnic, Durgapur and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department of KPS Polytechnic, Dhaniakhali. I coached engineering students of Jadavpur Univ., Netaji Subhas Engg. College, IEM and Class X to XII Science students of Kamala Girls’ School, A K Ghosh Memorial School, South Point School-Kolkata and so on. Simultaneously, I provided tutelage to aspirants of engineering positions in Railways, Air India, Ordinance factories being lecturer in Sri Aurobindo Institute, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Jadavpur and PT Sachdeva Professional Institute. My students are employed in Varangaon Ordinance Factory, Ichapore Rifle Factory, NTPC, etc.
Subjects of my interest are Physics, Mathematics, Engineering Drawing, Material Science, Strength of Materials, Hydraulic Machines, Applied Thermodynamics, Electrical Power Distribution.
