I teach English and English Literature to students from Classes 8 to 12, covering both ICSE and CBSE boards. Over the past 12 years, I have developed a strong passion for helping students improve their language skills and understanding of literature. Teaching these subjects has been a fulfilling journey for me.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Honours (B.A. Hons), which has given me a solid foundation in the language and literary studies. This background helps me create lessons that are both insightful and engaging for my students.
Throughout my teaching career, I have seen many students make significant progress. Some started off struggling with English but, through regular practice and guidance, they were able to boost their confidence and improve their academic results. These success stories motivate me to keep refining my teaching methods.
I have experience teaching both online and offline classes, and I am comfortable with either mode depending on what works best for the students. Flexibility in teaching helps me reach more students and cater to their individual learning needs.
My classes are practical-based and interactive, which encourages students to participate actively and apply what they learn. I believe this approach not only improves their grasp of concepts but also makes learning more enjoyable.
To support my lessons, I use PowerPoint presentations and whiteboard explanations. These tools help clarify complex ideas and keep the classes engaging. I always aim to balance technology and traditional teaching methods to suit the topic and the students’ preferences.
I also provide notes and study materials to my students, so they have resources to review after class. I believe that consistent practice outside of lessons is crucial for mastering English and literature, and I encourage my students to make the most of these materials.
