I’ve been teaching for the past 24 years, offering classes across a wide academic spectrum—from English for school students and professionals to coaching in Economics and international standardized tests like IELTS and SAT. My teaching journey has been rooted in a passion for guiding learners toward clarity, confidence, and academic excellence, regardless of their background or starting point.

I hold dual Master’s degrees in English and Economics, along with B.Ed and M.Ed qualifications that have equipped me with a strong foundation in both content and pedagogy. I’m also a certified CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) trainer, awarded by the British Council in Delhi. To stay current with evolving educational methodologies, I regularly participate in professional development workshops, including those by the International Baccalaureate (IB).

My teaching approach is centered around the student. I work with learners of all age groups, adapting lesson plans based on individual needs. Whether it's building basic English vocabulary or refining writing for IELTS essays, I ensure that each student receives a plan tailored to their goals. For example, one of my IELTS students recently improved from a Band 5 to Band 7.5 in just a few months—a result of consistent guidance, customized strategies, and focused practice.

In my long career, I’ve also had the privilege of working with students who struggled academically. I once tutored a student consistently scoring below 50% who, within a few months, improved to 65/80 in their English board exams. These transformations reaffirm my belief that with the right support and encouragement, every student can reach their potential.

Recognition has followed me through various phases of my career. While working in a Montessori school in Lucknow, I was awarded the Best Teacher Award three times. I later served as the Vice Principal at the same institution for five years, where I received a Certificate of Excellence for my leadership and contribution to school management. These accolades mean a lot because they reflect my dedication not just in the classroom, but also in building a nurturing academic environment.

I primarily conduct online classes now, as they offer flexibility and accessibility for students across locations. My sessions are guided by structured lesson plans, interactive discussions, and practical learning exercises. I use various tools—PPTs, videos, flashcards, games, and storytelling—to make classes dynamic and engaging. My approach is flexible and student-focused, ensuring each learner gains both knowledge and self-assurance.
