Srikanta Samanta

I am a Biology and Medical Science educator with experience teaching students across multiple academic levels. I teach Biology to Classes 10 to 12, including NEET Biology, and also work with B.Sc., MLT, DMLT, Nursing, Paramedical, and medical students. My areas of teaching include Zoology, Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Human Anatomy, Genetics, Cell Biology, Pathology, Hematology, Immunology, and Clinical Laboratory Science.

I have completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Vidyasagar University in 2021 and Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in 2025. I have also completed a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from the West Bengal State Medical Faculty in 2023. These qualifications have provided me with a strong academic and practical foundation in biological and medical sciences.

I have taught students from CBSE, ICSE, and other boards, as well as undergraduate and medical students. My professional experience includes working as a Biology Faculty Expert at Swastikalyan Research and Cultural Foundation and as a Faculty & Laboratory Instructor at Nehru Memorial Techno Global Hospital. I have also provided private mentoring to students preparing for academic and competitive examinations.

My teaching approach is concept-driven, practical-oriented, and examination-focused. I believe students learn Biology and medical science subjects more effectively when they understand concepts rather than depend only on rote memorisation. I therefore explain topics step by step, use diagrams and practical examples, and connect different concepts wherever possible to develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

My practical laboratory experience is an important part of my teaching. I have hands-on experience in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology, Pathology, Diagnostic Laboratory Techniques, Laboratory Quality Control, Good Laboratory Practices, Biosafety, SOP implementation, and automated laboratory instrumentation. This experience allows me to connect classroom concepts with their practical and clinical applications.

I conduct my classes online and use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to make lessons organised and interactive. I structure each session around clear learning objectives and include explanations, discussions, questions, doubt-clearing, practical examples, revision, and assessment. I also adapt the lesson plan according to the student's existing knowledge, learning goals, and examination requirements.

My goal is to help students develop strong fundamentals and become confident in Biology and related medical science subjects. Whether a student is preparing for board examinations, NEET, higher studies, or professional courses, I aim to provide structured and practical guidance that makes complex concepts easier to understand and helps students apply their knowledge effectively.
