I've been a music educator for over 15 years, so I have the necessary training and experience., therefore I have the necessary training and expertise. I primarily teach Western music, Hindustani (Indian classical music), and. Classes on how to use one's voice, modulate one's voice, play an instrument, and use one's body and expressions on stage (Special class). I earned a BA in 2011 from Calcutta University and an MBA in 2016 from the International Management Institute.
My lifelong interest has been singing, and I've won several competitions and honours for my efforts in this field, including the FM reality show 92.7Big FM Golden Voice- Season2 from the Rarh Bangla zone and the inaugural Inter Railway Production unit cultural festival of India, 2007. I participated in the season of the popular Indian reality show Zee Bangla Saregamapa 2018-2019 as a back vocalist.
I guide all the students who come to learn music. The availability of various music types helps the students choose the one they feel comfortable with. However, there are occasions when I have to help children and their parents determine what kind of music they wish to learn. In most cases, I consult with the parents or the students before making a final decision, considering each individual's needs, musical aptitude, and vocal quality. I work with students of all ages, providing them with either individual or small group instruction based on their needs and preferences. I not only give my students hands-on experience but also the theoretical background they'll need to succeed. The greatest way to learn music, in my opinion, is to study its theory and practice. My main focus as a teacher is on helping students develop their conceptual understanding. When the kids are young and enthusiastic, this works best. But if a student shows genuine curiosity in music, I am happy to assist them in acquiring the right knowledge.
