Overview

I have been an English teacher for over the past 5 years. I have taught students up to the age group of 35.
I have taught students appearing for IELTS both face to face and via video calls.
As a teacher I believe in giving the students an upper hand in the process of learning; the job of a tutor is to guide them.
Being a journalist with a popular English daily in Kolkata, prior to being a teacher, has helped me further in this profession. I thus have an eye for the most minute mistakes that students may commit.

Why is spoken English easier than written English?

Spoken English often ignores the technical use of the grammar. We use colloquial English while talking, which is not accepted while writing.

Read.. be it books or newspapers; keep a dictionary at hand.Talk to friends and people who are conversant in English.Watch English news.
