Shankar Kumar

I teach Hindi to students from Classes 6 to 12 and have around 20 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students from different age groups and academic levels and have helped them improve their Hindi language skills, grammar, writing, and overall academic performance.

I have been working as a teacher at a reputed school in Kolkata since 2013. This experience has given me extensive exposure to classroom teaching and helped me understand the different learning requirements of students. I believe that language learning becomes more effective when students understand the concepts clearly and receive regular opportunities to practise.

I have completed my Master’s degree along with a B.Ed. degree. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in Hindi, while my B.Ed. training has helped me develop an understanding of teaching methodologies and effective ways of engaging students.

I focus on helping students develop their language skills in a structured manner. Depending on the student's requirements, I work on grammar, writing, comprehension, and other aspects of Hindi that are important for academic performance. I also encourage students to practise regularly so that they become more comfortable with the language.

I have organised and conducted several Hindi competitions and cultural activities for students. I have also received awards and recognitions from my school and other organisations for my contribution to Hindi education and student activities. These experiences have been particularly meaningful because they have encouraged students to take greater interest in Hindi.

I follow a structured and student-friendly teaching methodology. I use lesson plans, interactive discussions, practical examples, and regular practice to make lessons easier to understand. I also use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to support my explanations.

My goal is to help students develop strong Hindi language skills and greater confidence in using the language. With around two decades of teaching experience and my continued involvement in Hindi education and student activities, I aim to provide personalised and effective guidance that helps students improve academically while developing a genuine interest in Hindi.
