I believe there is no universal theory in English Literature. Hence my teaching style is an open discussion on the topic which helps the students understand the topic more deeply and also gain the confidence of public speaking which is an essential soft skill for their career. I don't force students to memorize just for the exams, I prepare them on the topic such a way that they understand the core meaning of it. My class does not include a normal lecture, it is a room for students to present their thoughts, theory, findings and most importantly present their well researched note confidently. This helps the student in understanding and the importance of well researched presentation, which is again valuable for their future. Also I take weekly tests before exams and monthly tests the rest of the academic year.
