I am of teacher of English, History, Sociology and Political Science at the higher secondary level, and of English and History at the undergraduate level. I have been teaching privately and in institution over the last five years. I have a BA in English (first class) from Presidency University and an MA in English (first class with distinction) from Jawaharlal Nehru University. I also briefly pursued doctoral studies in History at New York University until the pandemic struck and defunded the program. In 2021, I qualified the National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor in English. I am a passionate teacher. I believe teaching is a two-way interactive process where the teacher has as much to give as to learn. I focus on group activities such as classroom discussions as well as one-on-one Q&A sessions to promote analytical and problem-solving skills.
