I have had the incredible opportunity to embark on a five-year journey of becoming a handwriting teacher. It all started with my passion for teaching and my deep fondness for my teachers, who inspired me to pursue a career in education. In 2006, I leapt to full-time teaching at a school, and there has been no looking back since then. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to honing my skills and expertise in handwriting instruction.
I have undergone a handwriting teacher training course that equipped me with the essential techniques and methodologies to help my students improve their penmanship. Along the way, I also attained a jolly phonics certificate, which has been instrumental in making my teaching approach more interactive and engaging. My passion for English led me to pursue an MA, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the language and its nuances. Additionally, I hold a Mcom degree, which has been invaluable in enhancing my ability to connect with students and impart knowledge effectively.
I have embraced every opportunity to expand my skill set throughout my career. Calligraphy workshops have been an enriching experience, and I now incorporate calligraphy into my teaching repertoire. I offer online and offline sessions on different calligraphy fonts and brush pen calligraphy. My handwriting sessions span ten to fifteen sessions, wherein I guide my students through various practical exercises to improve their writing legibility and style. I offer a comprehensive five-day course for calligraphy enthusiasts that delves into the art of creating beautiful and aesthetically pleasing letters with various tools and techniques.
I always ensure that my sessions are interactive and engaging, fostering a positive learning environment. I provide detailed notes and resources to my students to support their learning journey beyond the classroom.
