IdentityI am a versatile and friendly teacher. I believe in making my students comfortable to achieve their goals. I completed my B.B.A. in 2015 from West Bengal State University and pursued my MBA in 2017 from West Bengal University of Technology. In 2016 I did a course in Marketing Management at IIT Kanpur. I worked in corporate companies before beginning my career in the educational field. Currently, I’m an assistant professor with seven years of experience. I also possess a certificate course in Training in teaching strategy from IIT Roorkee. I take classes for eleventh and twelfth BBA, B.Com, and M.Com. I also teach MBA students and coachings to students appearing in competitive exams like CAT, MAT, SNAP and other MBA exams.
I take classes in two segments: one-on-one and group, offline and online. The use of the whiteboard is frequent to solve numerical for the students. My topics are planned according to the difficulty and the frequency of the questions appearing in the exams. For example, there’s a topic called Quadrative techniques which has a basic plan in almost all Universities. I provide either one-day or two-day bases classes. We try to cover the matter in the allotted time and then take tests to determine the student's understanding and grasping power. If the student has doubts, I repeat the chapter and ensure the student understands the topic before we move forward. I often use whiteboards and PowerPoint presentations to explain the topics. I share informative YouTube videos with the students to enrich their subject knowledge. Worksheets, notes and soft copies of reference books for the students are also available.
I try to establish a friendly and informal relationship with the student, enabling them to share their views freely. It is beneficial for me to see their point of view and move forward. Especially BBA and MBA students switched their subjects, and the non-commerce background students feel less confident in sharing their opinions; I encourage them and help them gain confidence in the subject. The students come from various backgrounds, and I try to establish comfortable environments. My greatest motivation for joining the education industry was my extensive knowledge and experience in the corporate field. From my understanding, it is my first and foremost objective to teach my students the practicality of the industry. I have trained more than two hundred students in the last five-six years with outstanding results. I have successfully secured seventy-eight per cent. In my years of teaching, I have made a name in my locality; the students who hadn't known me before are eager to study from me. I’m confident that once a student takes a demo class from me, they will definitely like my methodology and style of teaching.
