Most of the schools now a days except a few just does one sum in the class and get done with it. Old is gold but Old concepts and old techniques are not gold. I find often that students trying to mug even practical subjects on which their answer was this is how they have been told. I believe that every practical subject have some logical practical meaning. Unless you don't guide the young minds to that direction it can't develope.
