I teach students from Class 1 to 5 across all subjects, and from Class 6 to 12, I specialize in arts subjects such as History, Geography, and English. With 13 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide age group of students, each with unique learning needs. Teaching has always been my passion, and I enjoy making every lesson engaging and meaningful for my learners.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree and completed CMTC in 2017. In addition, I am certified in Montessori and Primary teaching, which has given me a strong foundation in handling younger children and making their learning process smooth and enjoyable. These qualifications have shaped my teaching style to be highly interactive, activity-oriented, and student-centered.

Over the years, I have built strong expertise in teaching arts subjects at the high school and higher secondary levels. My grammatical skills, voice modulation, and patience have been key strengths in keeping students attentive and motivated. I strongly believe that learning becomes most effective when it is delivered in a way that students can relate to and enjoy.

I have also served as the Center Head of Tree House Ballygunge, which provided me with valuable leadership and management experience. This role not only strengthened my organizational skills but also deepened my understanding of how to handle a diverse group of students, parents, and staff. It gave me the ability to balance administrative responsibilities with my teaching role.

In my classes, I always aim to strike a balance between academic rigor and creativity. For younger students, I bring in interactive activities that encourage curiosity and engagement. For older students, I focus on building critical thinking, analytical writing, and subject clarity—skills that help them excel in examinations and beyond.

I conduct both online and offline classes, depending on the student’s preference. I rely on lesson plans to keep my sessions structured, and I make use of PPTs and whiteboards to deliver content in a clear and visually engaging way. Notes and supporting materials are also provided to help students revise and practice effectively outside class.

What keeps me motivated as a teacher is the joy of watching my students progress—from gaining confidence in small concepts to excelling in board exams or developing a deeper love for learning. Every child learns differently, and my approach is to meet them where they are and guide them step by step towards academic success.
