My teaching philosophy is simple as pie: Teach like it is your last day today! I try to give my students all of my knowledge so that they can soar and bloom to the extent where they can produce themselves as global leaders as well as amazing human beings. I feel my day being successful, when I see the twinkle in the eyes of a student when they have understood a concept that I have taught them or figured out for themselves how to solve a problem based on my guidance. I consider myself to be more of a facilitator making things happen in the class room and outside. The greatest compliment is when a student (whom I may have taught long ago) approaches me on the road and state something like, "You really helped me learn.../ You have helped me to reach this position.../ I will never forget your teachings."

My experience of teaching the Board students are the most precious as I help them to steer ahead in overcoming the first hurdle of their lives. I plan on my methodologies depending on them and their interests. Students love the way I teach as I frequently relate topics to everyday things that excite or motivate them. I am quite approachable which further strengthens my bond with them. Frequent class tests are taken up by me to make sure that my students are always on their toes. I tend to integrate other subjects with mine - English, which makes it easier for them to comprehend. The NEP has brought about a lot of changes - I have adopted lesson plans which will further inculcate the habit of 4C's, as well as higher order thinking and experiential learning in them. Students are encouraged to question and interpret things in diverse ways which might be different from the views that I make. To sum it up, I not only want my students, my children to be great academicians, but amazing human beings as well. I respect them which helps me gain respect as well. To make my students all round global leaders is my aim and I help them achieve their dreams is what I strive for.
