IdentityI am currently serving as a faculty member at Vidyasagar Metropolitan College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta. He holds a strong academic foundation with a B.Com (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance from Heramba Chandra College (South City College) and an M.Com in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta. He has also successfully qualified the UGC-NET(PhD) examination in Commerce three times.
With expertise in Financial Management, Business Management, and Taxation, Mr. Banik has been actively involved in undergraduate commerce education for over two and a half years. His academic contributions include the publication of four research journals and two peer-reviewed book chapters. He has also participated and presented papers in several national and international conferences hosted by prestigious institutions such as St. Xavier’s University, Kalyani University, and Vidyasagar University.
A passionate educator and researcher, Mr. Banik is deeply committed to academic excellence and scholarly development. His research interests lie in the evolving dynamics of finance, taxation, and management education, with a growing emphasis on empirical and policy-driven studies.
