Priti K.

I teach students from Classes 1 to 5 in all subjects and also teach students from Classes 9 to 12, with a special focus on subjects such as History, Bengali, and Political Science. I have 4 years of teaching experience and have worked with students across different age groups and academic levels. My approach is focused on making concepts simple, clear, and easy to understand.

I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in BA History Honours and a Master’s degree in MA Archaeology. I have also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in History and related subjects and has strengthened my interest in helping students understand subjects beyond simple textbook learning.

Over the years, I have taught students from Classes 1 to 12 and have worked with different subjects according to their academic requirements. For primary-level students, I teach all subjects and focus on developing strong foundational knowledge. For senior students, I specialise in subjects including History, Bengali, and Political Science and help them understand concepts in a structured and organised manner.

I follow a structured and student-friendly teaching methodology. I prepare lesson plans according to the student's syllabus and learning requirements and explain topics step by step. I encourage students to participate actively in class, ask questions, and discuss concepts so that they can develop a deeper understanding rather than depending only on memorisation.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PowerPoint presentations and a whiteboard to support my teaching. Presentations help me organise important information and concepts, while the whiteboard allows me to explain topics, create notes, and work through questions in a clear and systematic manner. I also use examples and discussions to make lessons more engaging.

I understand that students at different levels require different teaching approaches. Younger students often benefit from simpler explanations, examples, and regular practice, while older students may need greater emphasis on conceptual clarity, answer writing, revision, and examination preparation. I adapt my pace and teaching style according to the student's level and individual learning needs.

My goal is to help students develop confidence in their subjects while building strong academic foundations. I want my students to understand what they learn, ask questions without hesitation, and develop the ability to approach their studies independently. Through structured lessons, interactive sessions, regular practice, and personalised guidance, I aim to help students make steady academic progress.
