IdentityHello, I’m Pratyusha, an educator with over 20 years of teaching experience across India and abroad. I have worked with students from CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curricula, helping them build strong foundations, confidence, and a genuine interest in learning. Teaching has always been more than a profession for me it is my passion.
I hold a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University and a Bachelor’s degree in English (Honours). My teaching experience in the UAE, Qatar, Nigeria, and India has enabled me to understand diverse learning styles and adapt my methods to meet the needs of each child.
I specialise in teaching students from Classes 1 to 5, focusing on core subjects, reading comprehension, communication skills, conceptual clarity, and structured writing. My teaching style is patient, child-friendly, and supportive, helping students feel comfortable and confident while learning.
My classes are interactive and well-structured, with clear lesson plans, simple explanations, real-life examples, and regular revisions. I always prioritise understanding over memorisation so children retain concepts effectively.
In addition to primary grades, I also teach Class 6 and Class 9, along with Spoken English for learners who wish to improve their fluency. I speak English, Hindi, and Bengali, which helps me connect easily with students and explain concepts in their preferred language.
I offer both online classes and offline classes at my home, allowing parents to choose the mode that suits them best. My aim is to create a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment where every child can progress confidently.
