Nishanta Ghatak

I have completed my B. A., M. A., M. Phil in English Language and Literature and am currently pursuing my PhD.

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor of English at the Heritage College, Kolkata under the University of Calcutta where I teach UG students under both CBCS and NEP curriculum.

I have been teaching 10+2 (CBCE, ICSE and State Board) school students, UG and PG students from different universities across West Bengal, communicative English and Business Communication at Engineering and Technical students, English as a language to the competitive exam students. I have an experience of 5+ years in the field. So far, I have taught at 4 different colleges as Guest Lecturer, Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor.

I have been a question paper setter and examiner too under University of Calcutta. I had been a project fellow under Vidyasagar University, West Bengal for Women's Study Centre in the rural areas of West Bengal. Also, I have several published research papers and book chapters and seminar proceedings.

Teaching analytically and lucidly, student connect, and personal communication and doubt clearing are some of the key aspects of my teaching.
