When I started my journey 4 years ago as a teacher of the English language in a non-profit organisation, little did I know that it would transform me into a completely different person. In these four years, I have dealt with various kinds of young adults not only as their teacher but also as a personality development and communication skills mentor. I tried my best to create a safe haven for them and prepare them for the world ahead. I took on an administrative role as well in this organisation which has constantly challenged my time management skills and has helped me become an organised individual.
When Covid-19 affected us all, I worked as a Customer Service Associate on a contractual basis since I have a keen interest in problem solving. Being a part of the customer service sector has made me utilize my skills to the maximum. Since I had struggled with public speaking in my teenage years, I understand the obstacles one has to face to overcome the fear. My goal is to share my story and help individuals become the best versions of themselves.
Academically I finished my schooling from La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata, followed by my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology under Calcutta University. The subject and the course material fascinated me to pursue it further and I completed my Master of Arts in Sociology from Presidency University, Kolkata. As a student of Sociology, I have written various articles on a number societal issues and trends. As a part of my research work, I was expected to interview people from different strata and linguistic backgrounds, hence, it adds to my knowledge which I would love to impart.
With all my experiences, I aspire to grow and explore my skills to the maximum.
