I am Smt. Koyel Chakraborty, who has completed her MA in Vocal Music (Kheyal) from Rabindra Bharati University. Besides holding a Master's degree with a first class, I have completed my seventh year examination with distinction (in both theory and practical examination papers) in Nazrul Geeti from the Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, and was awarded the 'Sangeet Ratna' title. I have successfully training students for the past 4 years. I have been awarded the first prize in the 'Ragasrayee/Raga-based songs' category in the Chetla Murari Smriti Sangeet Sammilani competition of 2024. I have successfully participated in the state 'Sangeet Mela' programmes.
I fervently hope to continue guiding and training students in my genre of music (i.e. Hindustani Classical, semi-classical, Nazrul Geeti, Bhajan etc.), with the choicest blessings of my illustrious Sangeet Gurus.
