Hridesh Mukhopadhyay

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Microbiology, with a B.Sc. in the same field from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College under the State University of West Bengal. My academic journey has centered around molecular biology, microbial genetics, and biotechnology. Through intensive coursework, hands-on practical's, and national-level workshops, I’ve built a working foundation in techniques such as PCR, plasmid isolation, molecular cloning, and genome analysis.

I have co-authored a peer-reviewed review article on multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii, and participated in specialized training at the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, focusing on protein expression systems. I’ve also engaged with tools like AutoDock, NCBI BLAST, and MEGA X through bioinformatics workshops.

Outside the lab, I’ve provided academic mentoring in physics and life sciences, and developed strong communication skills through teaching and outreach. My experience as a state-level swimmer and rock climber has shaped my discipline and mental resilience—qualities that mirror research challenges.
