Dr. Abhijit Debnath

I am an experienced Mathematics educator with more than 17 years of combined teaching and research experience. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics from Jadavpur University and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Yonsei University, South Korea. I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

I teach Mathematics and Python programming to students from Classes 8 to 12 following ICSE, ISC, CBSE, and international curricula. My Mathematics teaching covers algebra, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, statistics, matrices, vectors, and other curriculum-specific topics. I focus on strengthening fundamental concepts, improving problem-solving ability, and preparing students systematically for school examinations and board examinations.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-centred. I explain difficult concepts step by step using simple examples and adapt the pace according to each student’s learning needs. I provide regular practice assignments, doubt-clearing sessions, progress assessments, and personalized feedback. My objective is not merely to help students obtain better marks but also to develop their logical reasoning, confidence, and long-term interest in Mathematics and programming.
