My spoken English teaching experience comes from two places. First, as part of my primary tutoring, I've worked with students on reading aloud, pronunciation, and simple conversational practice alongside their regular English coursework, helping them move from just reading words on a page to actually using them comfortably in speech. Second, and more directly, I volunteer as an English teacher with ENGin, a Ukraine-based nonprofit, where I teach conversational English to war-affected Ukrainian students across a wide range of ages. That experience has been entirely spoken-English focused ,no textbook grammar drills, just real conversation practice, correcting pronunciation and sentence structure in the moment, and helping students build the confidence to actually speak rather than just understand the language passively. On top of that, I bring 7+ years of corporate training experience, facilitating sessions, coaching teams, and running discussions where clear verbal communication was the entire point. That's given me a strong sense of pacing, simplifying language for different comfort levels, and creating a low-pressure environment where someone feels safe attempting a new language out loud, which I think matters just as much as the linguistics itself when you're teaching spoken English specifically.
