I teach Mathematics and Science to students from classes 6 to 10, combining four years of teaching experience with a strong academic background. My goal as a tutor is to make science and math enjoyable and understandable for my students, helping them overcome fear and develop a genuine interest in these subjects.
I hold an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and a B.Ed., which provide me with both the technical knowledge and pedagogical skills required to be an effective teacher. These qualifications have helped me design lesson plans that are both conceptually strong and easy to follow for students of different learning abilities.
My journey in education began with a year of school teaching, where I gained valuable insights into classroom management and the importance of differentiated instruction. Over the last three years, I have been offering home tuition, which has allowed me to tailor lessons to the specific needs of each student. This personalized attention has resulted in noticeable academic improvement and boosted student confidence.
I prefer conducting online classes as they allow for flexibility and broader reach. I follow structured lesson plans and keep the sessions interactive, encouraging questions and discussions. I use PPTs to explain difficult concepts visually, which helps make abstract ideas more concrete and understandable.
Although I don’t formally distribute notes, I do prepare them when students ask for additional material. These notes are customized and concise, focusing on what the student needs the most. I believe in reinforcing textbook knowledge with practical examples and regular assessments.
Teaching is more than a profession to me—it's a passion. Every student brings a new perspective, and I find joy in guiding them towards academic success and critical thinking. My goal is to instill in them a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom.
