It is very important for a student to learn how to play the harmonium for a better understanding of notes and scales. However, even chords can be played on the harmonium, which adds a different dimension to the song altogether. Students who have gained better exposure to the harmonium have developed a lot faster compared to the ones who were reluctant, simply because the harmonium enables one to create a relation between their voice and their brain.
