Calcutta Chess Academy

Calcutta chess academy has been successfully conducting chess coaching classes for children since 1992. This academy produced a number of international masters & champions in state, national & international levels.
Ms. Khushi dharewa, a former student of calcutta chess academy, became champion in state under-7 chess championship & national under-7 chess championship in 2008-09 and won gold medal in asian under-8 chess championship in 2009, thus creating a record in the history of west bengal chess. Sayantan das, former world under-12 chess champion started his chess career under this academy.
Calcutta chess academy is headed by shri shyamol dutta, the only n.I.S.-trained chess coach of bengal who introduced group chess coaching for the first time in india in 1976. Apart from shri dutta, there is a team of expert and qualified coaches.
Coaching system in this academy is most scientific & well-planned.
