I teach Drawing and Painting on UrbanPro and have over 15 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I have trained students from different age groups and skill levels, helping them develop strong artistic skills, creativity, and confidence in their work. Teaching art has been a long and fulfilling journey for me, rooted deeply in practice and continuous exploration.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, and I am a self-taught artist by training. Although I do not have formal academic certification in drawing or painting, my strength lies in hands-on experience and consistent practice. Over the past 15 years, I have developed effective techniques and teaching methods that help students understand art in a practical, approachable, and creative way.

My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in drawing and painting while encouraging students to develop their own artistic style. I guide learners through concepts such as composition, color theory, shading, brush techniques, and observation skills, ensuring they understand both the technical and expressive aspects of art.

Alongside teaching, I have actively participated in national and international art exhibitions. I was selected for the 127th Annual Art Exhibition of the Bombay Art Society in 2019 and the 17th All India Watercolour Exhibition organized by AIFACS, New Delhi. These opportunities have helped me stay connected with the wider art community and continuously refine my artistic perspective.

My work has also been selected for several international platforms, including IWS Pakistan, IWS Bangladesh – “Waves of Colour,” IWS UAE, IWS Turkey, and the 1st IWS Kipus in Bolivia. I have participated in the 2nd IWS India Biennial in New Delhi and the Art Society of India Annual Exhibition. These experiences have greatly enriched my understanding of global art practices.

I conduct both online and offline classes, offering flexibility based on student preference. My sessions are practical-oriented, focusing on step-by-step guidance and continuous practice. I encourage students to observe, experiment, and express themselves freely through art.

My goal as a teacher is to nurture creativity while strengthening technical skills. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel inspired to explore their ideas, improve steadily, and develop a lifelong appreciation for drawing and painting.
