Just be relaxed and let her pick up with her own pace. It's time for her to learn things while playing, so try to make things very much simple and interesting for her so that she considers it enjoyable not as a burden.
As the mode of study is going to be online so just let her cope up with the new mode of study, at this stage focus more on learning things than just marks.

First of all, why do you need to learn Kannada? If you want to use it as a language media for tuitions , it's not going to work in a few days. Better to use English or Hindi as the language
However, it depends upon you, if you are from South India with already some basic knowledge you may catch up faster.
