Pure chemistry mainly focuses the conceptual part i.e. theoritical parts. On the other hand, applied chemistry refers the using those theoritical knowledge for our benifits is known as applied chemistry. As for example suppose an acid is found in apple, after testing the apple extract into the lab we came to know that the acid is malic acid with the help of pure chemistry and after discovering malic acid, how to make this acid in the lab for commercial purposes is under applied chemistry
