I am a Hindustani Classical Violin instructor with 8 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students of different age groups and skill levels develop their musical abilities. My teaching focuses on building strong foundations in violin techniques, understanding Indian classical music concepts, learning ragas, and developing confident performance skills. I believe that music is a journey of discipline, creativity, and self-expression, and I strive to help every student enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Indian classical music.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from Solapur University and Shivaji University, Kolhapur, completed in 2006. Along with my academic qualifications, I have completed a Diploma in Instrumental Music (Violin) and earned the prestigious Sangeet Alankar qualification in Hindustani Classical Violin from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. These achievements have strengthened my knowledge of violin techniques, music theory, and traditional teaching methods.

My musical journey has been deeply influenced by the rich tradition of the Guru-Shishya Parampara. I had the privilege of learning violin from Padmabhushan Dr. N. Rajam at Dr. Gangubai Hangal Gurukul, Hubli, Karnataka, for four years. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the discipline, dedication, and depth required to master Hindustani classical music. It has shaped my approach toward teaching and inspired me to pass on the same values and traditions to my students.

Over the years, I have trained students in Hindustani classical violin, helping them improve their technique, musical understanding, rhythm, and confidence in performing. I am also a graded artist of All India Radio, which has given me valuable exposure and recognition as a performing musician. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand the essence of ragas, develop proper violin techniques, and gradually progress according to their individual learning pace.

Along with Hindustani classical violin, I also guide students in learning film songs, light music, and Marathi Bhavgeet. I believe that exploring different musical styles helps students develop versatility while strengthening their fundamental skills. My lessons include guidance on melody, expression, bowing techniques, finger positioning, rhythm, and musical interpretation, allowing students to enjoy a well-rounded learning experience.

I offer both online and offline violin classes, making it convenient for students to learn from different locations. My teaching approach is personalized and focuses on creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to practice, explore their creativity, and develop their passion for music. My aim is to help every learner build a strong foundation in violin, appreciate the richness of Indian classical music, and progress confidently on their musical journey.
