a) The law of conservation of mass states that in a chemical reaction mass is neither created nor destroyed
b) Na + H3O → NaOH + H is a wrong equation. you need to write as
2 + 2
→ 2NaOH + H
If you want to only balance the above equation and not the corrections of the equation then
Na + H3O → NaOH + H is already balanced.
