It was a rewarding experience for me as I could foster in my students an interest towards English language.Majority of the students were weak in Grammar and I helped them overcome it through rigorous yet enjoyable drills and practice sessions. Spoken English was another area of concern. My approach towards solving this problem was to make the students do extempore speech and Just A Minute (JAM) presentations. However, instilling in my students an intrinsic passion for English is the biggest takeaway in my five years of teaching experience.
