With the youngest, textbooks didn't work. To teach addition, we used physical objects like sketch pens or rajma (kidney) beans. If they got tired, we shifted to phonics songs.i dont have prior experience but i have taught my nieces and nephews so i have an idea..ill make the sessions more High-energy, routine-driven days broken into short 15-minute activities like storytime, crafts, and free play.
