Aneesh Mathew

Started taking piano lessons from Mr. Thomas at the age of 9 and later continued his piano lessons under Mr. Jimmy Mathew, Harmony School of Music, Thrissur. He was later introduced to Western Classical music by Dr. Aswan Thomas Elias, under whose tutelage he passed the Grade 8 in Piano and Electronic Keyboard of Trinity College London. His teaching career started in the year 2006. His love for church music goes back to 2002 when he became the organist of CSI St. Thomas Church, Mannuthy.

He started home tuitions when he was only 16 years old. Along with his studies, he joined Harp N’ Lyre music academia in India as a Piano and Electronic Keyboard Teacher. Later on, he developed his skills in Recorder, Singing, Drums, Guitar and Violin. A bunch of good teachers at Harp N’ Lyre helped him to achieve greater heights in these instruments. He has also completed Grade 8 in Recorder and Music Theory from Trinity College London and till Grade 5 in other instruments. He is pursuing his doctoral degree from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. He has been leading Choir of CSI St. Thomas Church, Punnakkad from 2018. An energetic church pianist, he sharpens his abilities in going with and ad-libbing on conventional church hymns.
