IdentitySince joining Asumbi Girls National School in February 2023, I have served as a dedicated high school teacher, specializing in Mathematics and Chemistry. My responsibilities include teaching, examining students, and developing lesson plans and curriculum materials. This has led to increased student engagement and improved comprehension in both subjects.
I also serve as the Asumbi National Chemistry Coordinator and oversee the Asumbi Longhorn Chemistry Workshop. In this role, I coordinate laboratory activities, supervise Chemistry practicals, and ensure a safe and efficient learning environment.
Beyond classroom teaching, I organize Mathematics quizzes and symposiums during regional academic workshops, promoting collaborative learning. I also actively contribute to co-curricular activities such as soccer and athletics and currently serve as the dormitory master of St. Mary’s Dormitory.
One of my most notable achievements was as the Class Teacher for Form 4 Dione, Class of 2024, where I helped the class achieve an impressive KCSE mean score of 9.33.
