I have a Bachelor’s degree in Botany and a strong academic background in Science, having studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in Classes 11 and 12. I have been giving home tuition for 6 years. I also worked as a Science teacher and Class Teacher for Classes 5 and 6 at an English-medium missionary school for around 6 months. My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than rote learning. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, questions and interactive activities to make concepts engaging and easier to understand. I also adapt my teaching according to each student’s learning pace and provide extra classes and individual support when needed. My responsibilities included conducting tests and evaluating papers, organizing group projects, helping with doubts, classwork, homework and exam preparation, and handling students’ academic and personal concerns as a Class Teacher. I also communicated with parents about their child’s progress, strengths and areas for improvement. I believe a good teacher should not just help students score marks, but help them understand why something works and become confident in the subject.
