Mithun Jai Mistry

I have been teaching Mathematics to students of Grades 9 and 10 for the past 15 years, guiding them towards academic excellence with a focus on clarity, precision, and conceptual depth. My academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Mathematics, an M.A. in English, and a B.Ed. with specializations in both Mathematics and English. This strong educational background allows me to approach teaching with a broad perspective, connecting mathematical thinking with effective communication.

Currently, I work as a Mathematics teacher in a school, where I engage with students from diverse learning backgrounds. Over the years, I have developed a teaching style that blends structured lesson planning with interactive discussions, ensuring that students not only learn formulas and methods but also understand the ‘why’ behind each concept.

My teaching philosophy centers on building strong foundational knowledge and enhancing problem-solving skills. I firmly believe that when students understand the logic behind Mathematics, they gain confidence, enjoy the subject more, and perform better in exams. My classes are designed to encourage active participation, foster analytical thinking, and address each learner’s individual challenges.

In 2022, I was deeply honored to receive the State Best Teacher Award from the Government of Telangana on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. This recognition stands as a testament to my dedication, hard work, and commitment to my students’ growth over the years.

For online teaching, I make use of interactive presentations to simplify complex topics and keep students engaged. I also provide comprehensive course materials, including notes, reference books, assignments, and periodic tests. These resources help students practice regularly, track their progress, and feel more prepared for examinations.

My goal is not just to help students score well, but to make them appreciate the beauty and logic of Mathematics. Watching them transition from struggling with concepts to solving problems with confidence is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession.
