I've been tutoring for around 3 years now, in a few different ways actually — home tutoring, group sessions, and one-on-one personal tutoring. Overall I'd say I've taught somewhere between 20 to 25 students, mostly from 9th to 12th standard, though most of them were in 10th, 11th, and 12th specifically.

The home tutoring one really stands out for me. I had this one student who was genuinely struggling — low grades, and honestly just no interest in Math, Physics, or Chemistry at all. I worked with him for about a year, and instead of just going through the textbook with him, I focused on making the concepts actually make sense to him, in a way that clicked. Slowly he started getting curious, asking questions, actually wanting to learn instead of just sitting through it because he had to.

Besides that, I also did group tutoring and personal tutoring, around 10 students each, so it kept me pretty busy balancing all of that alongside everything else I had going on. But I think that's actually what taught me the most — figuring out how to explain the same concept differently depending on who I was teaching, staying on top of everyone's progress, and just being patient, especially with board exams looming over these kids at that age.
