My experience covers both fundamental and technical analysis, with a focus on understanding how different factors influence stock prices and investment decisions. I have studied and practised analysing companies through financial statements, revenue and profit growth, profitability ratios, valuation metrics, cash flows, business models, industry trends and competitive positioning. Alongside fundamental analysis, I have explored technical analysis concepts such as price action, trends, support and resistance, candlestick patterns, volume and commonly used technical indicators. My learning and analysis also include important aspects of risk management, position sizing, portfolio construction, trading psychology and disciplined decision-making. I believe that understanding risk is as important as identifying a potential opportunity. While teaching, I prefer a practical and easy-to-understand approach rather than relying only on theoretical concepts. I use real stocks and market examples to explain concepts and demonstrate how analysis can be applied to actual trading and investment situations. My primary objective as a tutor is to help students, especially beginners, develop a strong foundation in stock market trading and investing, understand how to analyse stocks independently, and make informed decisions instead of blindly following tips or recommendations. I also have experience understanding company valuation using concepts such as P/E, P/B, EV/EBITDA, intrinsic value and growth expectations. My approach to investing also covers portfolio construction, diversification, risk management, asset allocation, investment horizon and market psychology. I emphasise the importance of analysing a company's fundamentals and valuation rather than making decisions based solely on short-term price movements or market tips. As a tutor, I aim to make investing concepts simple, practical and easy to understand, particularly for beginners. I use real companies and market examples to demonstrate how investors can analyse businesses, compare investment opportunities and develop a structured investment thesis. My focus is on building strong fundamentals rather than encouraging students to memorise answers without understanding the underlying concepts. I can assist students with Mathematics, Science, English, Environmental Studies and basic General Knowledge, along with regular homework, revision and preparation for school examinations. I explain topics using simple language, relatable examples and step-by-step methods so that students can understand concepts comfortably according to their learning pace. For Mathematics, I focus on developing strong fundamentals in arithmetic, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, basic geometry, measurements and word problems. In Science and EVS, I use everyday examples to make concepts more interesting and easier to remember. For English, I can help students improve grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence formation and writing skills. My teaching approach is interactive and student-focused. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate during lessons rather than simply listening to explanations. I also use regular practice questions and short revision exercises to identify areas where the student needs additional attention. Topics across Physics, Chemistry and Biology are taught in an easy-to-understand manner, with emphasis on understanding processes, important definitions, diagrams and applications. I also help students prepare effectively for school examinations. For English, I focus on improving grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence formation and writing skills. I help students understand grammatical rules and apply them through practical exercises rather than simply memorising them.
