Saranya S. - Experienced Accountancy Tutor for 11th,12th Students

I teach Accountancy and Economics to students of Classes 11 and 12. I also provide training in Spoken English and Tamil. I have around 4 years of teaching experience and enjoy helping students understand academic concepts clearly while also developing their communication skills.

My teaching approach is based on simplifying concepts and connecting them with practical examples wherever possible. Accountancy and Economics can become easier to understand when students are able to relate theoretical concepts to real-world situations. I therefore try to explain topics step by step and encourage students to apply what they learn through examples and practice questions.

I have completed my Master of Commerce (M.Com.) and have a specialisation in Finance. Along with my teaching experience, I have 2 years of professional experience in Accounts and Finance. This professional exposure has given me practical knowledge of areas such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally Prime, MS Excel, and financial reporting.

My professional experience helps me bring practical context into my teaching, particularly while explaining Accounts and Finance-related concepts. I believe students benefit when they understand how concepts are used outside textbooks. I therefore try to make lessons more relevant by connecting academic learning with practical applications.

I generally follow a structured lesson plan and conduct interactive sessions. I encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and practise problems during the class. I use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to explain important concepts and make the lessons easier to follow.

I have received a Young Educator Certificate in recognition of my teaching efforts. This has been an encouraging achievement for me and motivates me to continue improving my teaching methods. I believe that teaching requires continuous learning, and I constantly try to find better ways of explaining concepts to students with different learning needs.

My aim is to help students become confident and independent learners. Whether a student needs support with Accountancy, Economics, Spoken English, or Tamil, I focus on understanding their individual requirements and providing structured guidance. I want my students to not only perform better academically but also develop practical understanding and confidence in what they learn.
